ABOUT THE ROLE

As an IT Administrator, you will maintain and improve our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of servers, networks, devices, and applications. You will handle backups, access control, technical issues, equipment management, and documentation, while working closely with staff and partners to keep systems secure and efficient.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Administering the user lifecycle in the centralized management platform (Google Admin Console) and multi-platform environments (Windows, macOS, Linux), including onboarding, offboarding, and permission audits
• Maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure, including daily management and troubleshooting of server infrastructure (Windows Server and Linux), virtualisation platforms, and network infrastructure 
• Monitoring network performance, implementing firewall rules, configuring VPNs, and responding to incidents
• Monitoring server performance, applying security patches, and performing updates and upgrades
• Identifying and addressing potential IT security issues
• Performing data backups and enforcing access control policies
• Monitoring and managing client IT infrastructure remotely using RMM tools 
• Supporting end users with hardware and software issues
• Administering Sofascore domains
• Maintaining detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, and IT policies

What you bring to the team

• Over 3 years of relevant IT administration experience
• Strong skills and experience in managing user accounts and enforcing access control policies to maintain security
• Proven experience in managing and maintaining endpoints, applications, and software
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including subnetting, routing, VLANs, VPNs, and WiFi
• Solid understanding of virtual environments
• Ability to identify and address IT security issues to protect organizational assets
• Proven ability to perform data backups and verify data integrity and authenticity
• Organised, systematic, and methodical work approach
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and work effectively under pressure
• Team-oriented and quick learner, comfortable in a dynamic IT environment
• Fluent English communication skills
• Advantageous: familiarity with ProxMox VE and ProxMox PBS; Mikrotik and UniFi; Action1
