LBAPS is seeking an IT & Automations Lead to own the full technology infrastructure of a
fast-moving, multi-state ABA therapy organization. This is not a help desk role. You will be the
single owner of everything from our in-house Synology NAS and Cloudways-hosted WordPress
network to our Google Workspace environment, n8n and Zapier automations, Woodpecker
outreach infrastructure, and company-wide security posture. If it runs on a server, sends an
automated email, or connects two systems together — it is yours.
 

Scope of This Role
LBAPS operates 50+ WordPress websites across 12+ states, a self-hosted automation
stack, an in-house Synology NAS file server, multi-state email infrastructure, and a
Woodpecker-based outreach system serving multiple teams. This role keeps all of it
running, secured, and improving.

What You'll Own
• Administer and maintain Google Workspace across the organization — account
provisioning, 2-Step Verification enforcement, access management, and offboarding
• Own and maintain the in-house Synology NAS — drive health monitoring, user access,
backup integrity, and quarterly restore testing
• Manage Cloudways hosting for 50+ WordPress/Elementor sites across 12+ states —
plugin updates, server health, SSL certificates, and uptime
• Manage DNS records across Cloudflare and Ionos — SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and
subdomain configuration for all sending accounts
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot n8n (self-hosted) and Zapier automation workflows
connecting forms, CRMs, and outreach platforms
• Set up and manage Woodpecker sending accounts — new email onboarding,
subdomain authentication, campaign monitoring, and deliverability maintenance
• Implement and maintain a company-wide SSO and password management system
• Lead HIPAA security training for all staff — phishing awareness, device security, and incident response
• Monitor and maintain Google Tag Manager across all active sites
• Support the automation of rep outreach workflows — replacing manual form-based
processes with fully automated n8n/Zapier triggers
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of IT, systems administration, or automation engineering experience
• Prior experience working in a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment —
understanding of PHI handling, data security obligations, and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with n8n, Zapier, or comparable workflow automation platforms
• Experience administering Google Workspace at the organizational level
• Experience managing WordPress/Elementor sites at scale — plugin management, hosting, DNS, and SSL
• Working knowledge of email authentication: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration
• Familiarity with NAS devices — Synology preferred
• Understanding of cold email infrastructure — sending domains, subdomains, deliverability, and warm-up protocols
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Cloud ways or similar managed cloud hosting platforms
• Familiarity with Woodpecker or similar cold outreach platforms
• Experience implementing SSO solutions (Google Workspace SSO, 1Password Teams, Bitwarden, or similar)
• Background in healthcare IT, behavioral health, or multi-site service organizations
• Experience with Airtable as an operational hub
• Familiarity with Cloudflare for DNS management and security

You will be stepping into an existing infrastructure. Here is what you are inheriting:

Email / Admin Google Workspace — organization-wide admin access

Automation n8n (self-hosted) + Zapier — form routing and lead automation 

Outreach Woodpecker — cold email sequences for referral partners and reactivation 

Email Marketing Brevo — currently dormant, may be reactivated

Task & Ops Hub Airtable — all credentials, workflows, and vendor contacts live here 

Tracking Google Tag Manager + FullSession across all active sites

HIPAA & Compliance Requirements
This Is Non-Negotiable
LBAPS handles protected health information (PHI) for ABA therapy clients across multiple
states. All IT systems, tools, and automations must comply with HIPAA security
requirements. 

Candidates without prior healthcare IT experience will not be considered.

• Must have prior experience maintaining IT systems in a HIPAA-regulated environment
• Must understand the HIPAA Security Rule as it applies to electronic PHI (ePHI) — including access controls, audit logging, and breach notification obligations
• Must be able to assess tools and platforms for HIPAA compliance risk before onboarding them
• Must enforce 2-Step Verification and access controls across all Google Workspace accounts
• Must complete LBAPS HIPAA training within the first 30 days of employment
