This role will work closely with the IT Project Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, analyze data, and ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced trading environment.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our Technology team, supporting mission-critical initiatives across trading infrastructure, cloud adoption, and operations. This role will work closely with the IT Project Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define solutions, analyze data, and ensure successful project delivery in a fast-paced trading environment.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Assist with eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements from various internal teams across (and not limited to) Technology, Finance, Procurement, and Legal.
- Project Support & Communication: Assist the IT Project Manager with consistent dissemination of project deliverables, timelines and dependencies to stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Meeting Management: Document meeting minutes; clearly defining next steps and follow up items; to ensure project alignment and progress.
- Project Management: Driving business outcomes by owning execution, managing deliverables, and seeing project components through to completion
- Cloud & Infrastructure Analysis: Support the assessment and dissemination of cloud usage and infrastructure inventory to cloud administrators and owners.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Operational Reporting: Assist with developing reports that combine financial and utilization data for hardware, connectivity, colocation, and cloud services.
- Technical Translation: Taking complex engineering and infrastructure concepts into clear business actions, decisions, and documentation for non-technical stakeholders
- Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Assist with planning and executing vendor discussions, to ensure technical and business goals are clearly defined and met on behalf of stakeholders.
- Presentation Development: Assist IT Project Manager with the creation of data-driven presentations and visual summaries to support executive and team-level decision-making.
Your Skills and Experience:
- At least 4+ yearsof experience as an IT Business Analyst, or similar experience, preferably in a trading, financial services, or technology-driven firm.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data aggregation, reporting, and cost analysis.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Jira, Confluence).
- Proficiency in Excel and various Project Management tools (e.g. Trello, Office 365 Planner).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and understanding of cloud provider customer consoles.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment..
