Within the Americas IT department, Business Technology Services is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Corporate IT team. This individual will manage a dedicated squad responsible for IT Compliance & IT Finance.

The ideal candidate will have hands on Technical Experience able to lead a cross-functional team to deliver solutions that meet business needs and ensure a high standard of day to day production quality is maintained.  

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Contribute to the overall consistency and performance of the Corporate IT Squad ensuring they meet the operational demands of the organization.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of functional and technical information systems, ensuring they are optimized for performance and aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate and plan actions of internal and external team resources to address new business needs effectively.
  • Anticipate changes in technology and business needs, assessing their potential impacts on existing systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with corporate strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison for Compliance and Finance related inquiries and facilitate communication between IT and business units.
  • Assess business needs versus team skills and suggest any needed improvements and/or training.
  • Provide clear and concise project reporting to management.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of the budget for the squad’s scope, ensuring that expenditures align with financial objectives.
  • Participate in preparation and presentation of quarterly Steerco meetings for the perimeter. 
  • Responsible for resource development and performance reviews
  • Promote continuous improvement within the squad.
  • The position will include the tracking and review of resource utilization to ensure they are in line with the business needs. Strategic planning to ensure the applications supported remain compliant with internal and vendor mandates and mitigate any risk to the business.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of directly related experience in IT.
  • Hands on experience developing in Python, SQL Scripting, Informatica, Business Objects, Power BI, Easymorph.
  • Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Sybase) and data modeling.
  • Experience in Financial Services, specifically an International bank is highly preferred. 
  • Experience in integrating data transformations across architectures where it is called from one or more production applications to return back and/or file results.
  • Experience with requirements gathering – working with clients to determine analytical needs and carrying those needs through the development of data-driven tools to facilitate the requirements.
  • Experience in Financial and/or Regulatory organizations is critical.
  • Experience with DevOps/CI-CD, testing automation, Agile scrum with Jira.
  • Experience in IT coordination or project management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and networks across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, while maintaining a high attention to detail and meet deadlines. 
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, particularly with clients & managers.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and often fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative / team-based approach.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Detail oriented organizational skills.

The salary range for this Director position will be between $170,000 - $220,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
