Role Overview

As IT Manager at Adonis, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of our internal IT operations and corporate security function. You’ll be the go-to expert for everything from laptop provisioning and systems access to IT security policy enforcement and compliance audits. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role - working with stakeholders across Engineering, People, Finance, and external partners to ensure our IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure.

You’ll manage the full IT lifecycle, partner with our security team on  HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance initiatives, and proactively improve systems, tools, and workflows that enable our team to move fast without compromising security. This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment and enjoys balancing tactical execution with strategic ownership.

• Own IT operations across the company (managing hardware procurement, configuration, and deployment for full-time and contract team members)
• Set up and maintain MDM profiles across MacOS (Jamf) and ChromeOS environments, ensuring device compliance and policy enforcement
• Manage office infrastructure and live event support, including conference room tech, Wi-Fi, printers, and A/V production
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, helping employees resolve IT issues quickly and empathetically, whether remote or onsite
• Administer company-wide SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, etc.), including access provisioning and role-based controls
• Lead user access reviews, patch management enforcement, and device hardening across the org
• Maintain security tooling, including password managers (Keeper), identity providers (Okta, Google IAM), and endpoint protection
• Partner with internal security team and external security consultants to uphold and evolve compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and future frameworks
• Write, maintain, and enforce IT and security policies (e.g., Acceptable Use, BYOD)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding/offboarding, access workflows, and risk mitigation strategies
• Evaluate and implement new tools to support scale, security, and operational excellence across Adonis
• Evaluate and manage third party vendors with a focus on redundancy, reliability, and security posture; partner closely on vendor onboarding, contract review, and ongoing risk assessments.

• 5+ years of experience in IT or Corporate Security, with direct ownership of internal infrastructure and employee-facing systems
• Strong technical knowledge of MDM platforms (Jamf), SaaS admin, and device management for MacOS and ChromeOS
• Comfortable with IAM platforms like Okta and Google Workspace, as well as security tooling (EDR, VPNs, password vaults)
• Familiar with compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, and HITRUST; experience managing audits is a plus
• Basic scripting ability (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automating repeatable tasks
• An excellent communicator who can support non-technical teammates with clarity, empathy, and responsiveness
• Organized and proactive - you anticipate risks, document processes, and bring order to complexity
• Excited to build - whether it's policies, processes, or new workflows that help Adonis scale

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000 yr. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we also offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
