The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

Monad Foundation is seeking a customer service-oriented, security-minded IT Manager to take ownership of IT systems across a globally distributed, Mac-based team. This is a hands-on role, based in the New York office from Monday-Friday, with a focus on device management, endpoint security, tooling provisioning, and technical employee support. You’ll work across teams, solve problems quickly, and help build a secure, scalable IT environment that keeps our team productive and protected.

What You Will Do

Helpdesk & User Support

  • Provide first- and second-line IT support to employees across a global, distributed team.

  • Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues (Mac, SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, 1Password, Slack, printers, VPN, etc.).

Endpoint Administration and Access Control

  • Manage the MDM (Jamf) platform—device provisioning, policy configuration, compliance workflows, and automation.

  • Assist with deploying and monitoring security tools such as EDR, antivirus, disk encryption, patching, and access control.

  • Assist with compliance-related IT activities (device status, encryption, access control).

Onboarding, Offboarding, and Device Lifecycle

  • Own the end-to-end process for employee devices—including provisioning, shipping, MDM setup, maintenance, returns, and secure decommissioning.

  • Continuously improve and document onboarding/offboarding processes for consistency and security.

Office IT Infrastructure

  • Maintain Meraki networking, office wireless, Zoom Rooms, and A/V systems.

Documentation & Asset Management

  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset management, ensuring they are accurate and accessible.

  • Contribute to IT automation and process improvements where appropriate.

Who You Are
  • 7+ years of hands-on IT support or systems admin experience, ideally in a high-growth, globally distributed company

  • Deep experience with macOS, Jamf, EDR, and general IT/Security services

  • Strong understanding of security practices and tools (e.g. EDR, A/V, encryption, MFA, best practices)

  • Experience managing common SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, 1Password, etc.) and access provisioning

  • Strong communicator, able to support non-technical users and collaborate cross-functionally

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with departments (e.g. Engineering, Operations) on IT workflows and issue resolution

  • Comfort working in ambiguity and solving problems without a playbook

  • Strong interest in or familiarity with crypto, Web3, or decentralized tech

Starting base salary: $160,000

Why Work with Us
  • Challenging problems. You’ll work on extremely challenging problems with massive impact.

  • Huge opportunity. The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standard is ubiquitous, but existing EVM-compatible chains are slow and bandwidth-constrained. Monad’s core innovations offer developers the best of both worlds (portability and performance) and are a game-changer for mass user adoption in crypto.

  • The right team. You’ll be part of an exceptional and highly-motivated team

  • Culture. We’re a lean team working together to achieve very ambitious goals. We are united in our culture of collaboration, low ego, and high-quality output. As an early member of our team, you’ll help continue to shape our culture.

Salary and Benefits

Benefits for full-time employees may include medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% coverage for employees); generous paid time off; paid parental leave; and 10 company-observed holidays.
