Our Technology Infrastructure Team engineers and operates the foundational technology platforms that power all Point72 applications and businesses. Our disciplines span a broad array of technologies from datacenter infrastructure to large scale cloud services, with the shared goal of providing the most reliable, performant, modern technology platforms to improve time-to-market for our business. We also deliver end-user technology solutions to support the evolving collaboration and productivity needs of our global teams. What you’ll do 

You will work independently and as part of a global team to provide a range of services essential for the efficient operation of a client focused technology service model. Specifically, you will: 

  • Diagnose and resolve desktop hardware issues with PCs, phones, screens, webcams, and more with patience and empathy 
  • Perform desktop moves, adds, and changes  
  • Perform daily AM and PM system checks per documented procedures 
  • Deploy firm standard image on client laptop and desktop technology 
  • Provide hands-on technical support of Windows-based related components; provide clients with a best-in-class support experience to enhance their overall technology experience 
  • Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and make recommendations to mitigate future risk 
  • Provide guidance and training to clients on current technology and corporate policies 
  • Follow processes to track incidents in Jira, document root cause analysis, create knowledge base-articles on new issues, and create and distribute status reports  
  • Be available for domestic and international travel as needed 
  • Participate in 24/7 on call rotation as assigned 

What’s required 

You should be inquisitive and show an eagerness to learn the latest systems, new skills, and technology concepts.   

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in client service, desktop support, or technical support role 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a full range of IT related services, including PCs, laptops, video conferencing solutions, software, mobile devices, voice, mobile technology, Microsoft Windows based systems, as well as the Microsoft Office suite of tools 
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to diagnosing and resolving issues, providing clear guidance, and offering advice with patience and empathy  
  • An inquisitive nature and eagerness to learn the latest systems and technology concepts and to develop new skills 
  • Ability to apply break/fix knowledge to remediate hardware components on firm systems  
  • Ability to identify issues that require urgent attention and escalate accordingly 
  • Ability to maintain composure and focus in a fast paced, high-pressure environment 
  • Ability to work independently, while engaging and supporting the global technology team

The annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
