BAE is looking for an experienced Program Manager (PGM) to manage a multi-year complex program to implement a new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineering system for the Space & Mission Systems (SMS) sector. The role will report into our Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) IT Organization, with deep engagement with stakeholders within SMS. The PGM will be responsible for end to end execution of the PLM Program, managing matrixed Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
The candidate will have strong program management experience managing multiple concurrent programs with several projects rolling up under each of the program. The candidate will be leading programs and projects through the project lifecycle including Planning and Analysis, Execution, Delivery, Stabilization and Benefit Realization.
Program leadership in this role will include:
  • Business case development.
  • Effective design and development of Portfolio, Program, Project (P3) execution strategies.
  • Cross boundary integration, dependency identification & tracking.
  • Effective leadership and program & project execution.
  • Develop solutions to complex problems which require use of ingenuity, innovation and robust design.
  • Management of requirements, priorities and alignment with organizational objectives & success criteria.
  • Work breakdown structure, effort estimation, resource loaded schedule management and execution to the strategy/plan, proactive risk identification and mitigation,
  • Team leadership including guiding and motivating team members,
  • Cost breakdown structure, cost estimation, cost management throughout the project lifecycle including management of cost overrun/underrun.
  • Quality / Test Management.
  • Vendor relationship management including working with third-party systems integrators
  • Organizational change management, communication, training, stakeholder engagement, enablement.
The candidate shall be highly customer focused, meeting customer expectation and responsive to feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience in both IT and in leading complex business facing initiatives with the ability to drive technology adoption within BAE Systems business sectors. The candidate shall leverage servant leadership, emotional intelligence, strong communication and decision making skills to navigate effectively across all functional areas and organizational levels.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 12 years of work experience in IT, data center operations, or a related field
Enhanced servant leadership skills and customer-centric approach
Experience in leading complex business-facing initiatives, preferably in data center transformation or modernization
Strong stakeholder management skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Business and strategic plan development, project finance management, and earned value management experience
Process development experience and executive-level communication and presentation skills
Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with data center infrastructure, including power distribution, floor layouts, backup systems, and cooling systems
Knowledge of cloud computing, including migration of workloads to cloud providers

PMP Certification and Agile Certification
Hands-on implementation experience with data center transformation or modernization

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
