IT Project Manager position with New Era Technology offers you the following:

The IT Project Manager is responsible for running multiple technology projects consisting of New Banking Centers, Relocations, Decommissions, and Reconfigurations for a large financial client.  This includes overseeing the cabling, network equipment installations, Cisco phone installations, and other network technologies that may be introduced into the branch environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage network, Audio Video, cabling and install projects
  • Manage vendors, prepare quotes and receive proposals, negotiate pricing
  • Manage revenue and cost expectations of the project to meet required margins
  • Work with multiple business units, including Real Estate, Security, and other units to understand requirements and timelines for each project
  • Participate in various required project meetings

  • Knowledge of Network components and connectivity
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow a project through its lifecycle to successful deployment
  • Ability to communicate technical documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and industry that is continually changing
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technical/business requirements and offer creative solutions
  • Ability to solve problems independently, quickly, and completely, and to communicate solutions clearly to peers
  • Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in network technology Project Management
  • 2-4 years’ experience managing vendors
  • Experience preparing labor/material quotes
  • Background in IT Service Delivery

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • PMP Certification

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing).
  • Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remote – Full time position working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.  Some overtime maybe required to meet demands.


Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.

$80,000$100,000 USD
