About Ramp

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $100B in annualized spend flows in and out of 50,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.

The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.

We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.

The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.

If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.

About the Role

This role requires 5 day/week in-office out of our SF office.
Ramp is on a mission to become the most productive company in the world, and our IT team is foundational to that mission. We’re looking for an IT Site Lead to take full ownership of IT operations in our San Francisco office. In this role, you’ll be the go-to partner for employees onsite, delivering seamless support while proactively identifying opportunities to automate and improve workflows. You’ll have access to powerful tools, including AI-driven solutions, and will be empowered to build systems that reduce friction, scale effortlessly, and let your teammates focus on meaningful, strategic work. This is a role for someone who’s resourceful, self-directed, and excited to tackle problems hands-on.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact for the SF office, providing high-touch, in-person support 5 days/week while contributing to company-wide support via our centralized IT help channel

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across macOS and Windows, SaaS applications, identity/access (SSO/SAML), networking, printers, and AV/conferencing systems

  • Own the reliability of office technology: WiFi, conference rooms, printers, and other site-specific systems—coordinating with vendors and building management as needed

  • Lead onsite new hire onboarding (device setup, account access readiness, office setup), ensuring a consistent Ramp experience from day one

  • Run employee lifecycle workflows (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) in partnership with People and Security, including secure offboarding and device returns

  • Manage hardware inventory and device lifecycle from procurement and staging through deployment, repair, recovery, and secure retirement

  • Create and maintain clear documentation for IT processes and employee-facing resources; turn repeat issues into playbooks and self-service guidance

  • Identify and deliver automation opportunities to reduce repetitive work and improve speed/quality of support (including AI-powered tools where appropriate)

  • Partner cross-functionally with Security, People, Workplace/Facilities, and vendors to improve the employee experience and execute local IT projects

What You Need

  • 3+ years of hands-on IT support or IT operations experience in a modern, fast-paced environment

  • Strong troubleshooting across macOS and Windows devices (hardware, OS, peripherals, common productivity tools)

  • Deep familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Notion, and MDM solutions (Jamf preferred)

  • Solid understanding of identity and access management concepts (provisioning, least privilege, SSO, SAML)

  • Strong prioritization, follow-through, and clear communication

  • A self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate ambiguity independently

  • Ability to work onsite in San Francisco, 5 days/week

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in a high-growth or distributed startup environment

  • Familiarity with basic scripting or automation tooling; familiarity with IT automation/agent tools

  • Okta Certified Professional or other relevant certifications

  • Experience supporting Zoom Rooms/conference room AV and large meeting setups

Benefits (for U.S.-based full-time employees)
  • 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you

    • Partially covered for your dependents

    • One Medical annual membership

  • 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp)

  • Flexible PTO

  • Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year)

  • Parental Leave

  • Unlimited AI token usage

  • Pet insurance

  • Centralized home-office equipment ordering for all employees

  • Health and Wellness stipend

  • In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more

  • Budget for intra-office travel

  • Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed)
