You will serve as a conduit for demand and resource management, balancing people and budgets towards desired outcomes. Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day project oversight, execution, and operational leadership.
- Deliver technology vision, strategy, and direction for supported services.
- Maintain OLA and SLA agreements with Micron Business Units and ensure alignment.
- Sustain strong global collaboration with internal and external Micron IT operations teams.
- Partner with Enterprise Architects to develop and carry out capability roadmaps.
- Drive service improvements by reviewing contracts, vendor offerings, upgrades, quotes, and cost/benefit analyses.
- Lead continuous improvement through policies and processes for monitoring, measurement, reporting, and improving service/component availability.
- Lead all aspects of budget and cost centers, manage talent development (mentoring, coaching, succession planning, retention), and support
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of leadership experience leading on-premise Enterprise Hardware Compute teams.
- Hands-on technical background across Unix, Windows, VMware, and enterprise hardware compute systems.
- 10 years of experience building and leading geographically distributed teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, with sophisticated knowledge of ITIL subject areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting AI/GPU or high-performance compute environments.
- Strong vendor management experience, including ELAs and strategic supplier negotiations.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder leadership skills
- Familiarity with automation, self-service, and event-driven infrastructure operations.
