Candidate Requirements:

• Java, J2EE, Spring, JavaScript, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, SQL, DB2, XML, JSON, DHTML, CSS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field required
• At least 7-10+ years of hands-on application development utilizing the J2EE Java framework.
• 5+ Year of experience working with SQL and database design
• 3+ Year of hands-on experience with SPARK( using JAVA) based processing.
• Experience in the development of service oriented architecture application, good understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns and data structure algorithms.
• Experience with MVC patterned applications using Spring
• Experience with writing SQL
• Experience with Unix Shell and Python Scripting
• Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions
• Agile development practice
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Excellent collaboration and team skills

Additional Skills:

• Websphere, RESTful WebServices, Angular, Python, Kafka
• Risk/Financial Systems development experience
• Understanding of massive parallel processing (MPP) architecture to support high volume data processing.
• Knowledge of Python syntax and experience with relevant libraries such as NumPy, Pandas etc.
• Exposure to functional/business knowledge about Corporate Action
