Mizuho Americas is seeking a Java Full Stack Payment Integration Engineer with proven hands-on experience. This position involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining payment processing system . The candidate will participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and debugging as required. Collaboration with infrastructure administrators, application owners, and business users is essential to develop, support, and maintain the solutions, alongside performing other assigned duties. Below are the core responsibilities, skills, and educational qualifications for the role.

**Core Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement payment integration strategies aligned with business goals.

- Design and create scalable payment solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payment systems.

- Participate actively in the full lifecycle of payment solutions.

- Integrate with current transaction monitoring mechanisms for fraud prevention.

- Work closely with payment gateways and service providers as necessary.

- Ensure compliance with information security standards.

- Adhere to industry regulations and standards.

- Stay informed about emerging payment technologies and trends.

**Essential Skills:**

- 10-12 years of hands-on development experience.

- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, and Angular.

- Significant experience in developing APIs using web services (e.g., REST, SOAP) and microservices.

- Ability to develop cloud-native applications, particularly in an OpenShift environment.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and automation.

- Experience with Fedwire, SWIFT, CHIPS and other payment gateways .

- Knowledge of database systems and transaction processing.

- Experience with middleware integration platforms like MQ and Kafka.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Knowledge of ACI MTS is a plus.

**Education:**

- Master's degree in computer science is highly desired.

The expected base salary ranges from $160,000-$210,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
