Junior Account Executive

Location: New York, NY / Hybrid Remote

We have an office in New York and this position can either be based in the office or hybrid remote, with the expectation of attending the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (subject to your existing legal right to work in the jurisdiction).

About the Role

HERE is growing and we are hiring for a Junior Account Executive to join our US Sales team! This role offers a strong opportunity for career growth, expanding your scope to qualify leads from initial contact through to the evaluation stage. You will drive this through high-volume outbound prospecting, researching target accounts, and cultivating new business pipelines to support our growth. Junior Account Executives will work to establish new relationships and penetrate firms and verticals with whom HERE is not actively engaged. Identifying prospects across new and existing verticals and advancing qualified opportunities is at the core of this position's responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and research new prospects and target accounts, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket, and others to map key decision-makers and influencers within priority accounts.
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via cold calling, personalized email sequences, and social channels, maintaining a consistent cadence to build rapport and generate interest in the HERE platform.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, conducting discovery conversations to understand prospect pain points and business goals, building a robust pipeline and taking ownership of opportunities through the evaluation phase  to support the senior sales team's efforts.
  • Partner with the sales team to transition opportunities effectively, ensuring a seamless handoff by providing detailed discovery notes, mapping stakeholder relationships, and clarifying next steps for the closing team.
  • Maintain accurate activity and prospect data in our CRM, ensuring all outreach, call notes, and pipeline stages are updated in real-time to provide leadership with visibility into sales performance and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to share feedback on outbound messaging and campaign effectiveness, helping to refine value propositions and improve lead quality across various channels.
What We’re Looking For
  • 1-3 years of SDR or outbound sales experience, (within tech, SaaS or financial services strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Amplemarket, Gong, Trellus, and Aligned a plus 
  • Proven track record of generating high-quality leads and opportunities
  • Strong outbound focus, high energy, and resilience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A curious mindset, strong desire to learn the financial technology landscape, and a drive to excel

Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000
