What You’ll Do
- Review borrower credit reports and assist with background checks and public record searches, including liens, judgments, bankruptcies, and UCC filings.
- Assist in analyzing financial documents such as bank statements, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and tax returns to help assess cash flow and credit risk.
- Support senior analysts on credit reviews and complex cases.
- Learn and apply Altbanq’s credit policies, procedures, and risk guidelines.
- Prepare credit summaries and memos for internal review and approval.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, basic functions)
- Strong interest in credit analysis, lending, financial risk and transaction due diligence
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
