The Role: Jr Post Closing Coordinator

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate looking to get their foot in the door of the mortgage, fintech, or real estate space. As a Junior Post Closing Coordinator, you will work closely with the post closing team, accurately and effectively delivering all funded loans to specific investors for purchase. Completing specific tasks that allow the post closing coordinator to focus on resolving investor suspense conditions and reducing dwell times. 

What You’ll Do:
  • Register loans within MERS and transfer servicing once the loan has been purchased. 

  • Run all conventional loans through UCD via Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac portals. 

  • Deliver document bundles to investors for purchase review. 

  • Obtain and track trailing loan documents and deliver to investors once purchased.

  • A recent graduate (BA/BS) or early-career professional with strong ambition

  • Hungry to learn and curious about how things work

  • Known for being organized, detailed-oriented, and reliable 

  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and timelines 

  • A clear communicator - written and verbal 

  • A team player who thrives in fast-paced environments

  • Tech-savvy or quick to pick up new systems. 

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience in a fast-paced internship, part-time job, or student organization

  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets or CRM tools

  • An interest in real estate, finance, or fintech

  • Professional experience (bonus if that is recent mortgage closing/funding experience)
