Lab49 is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to support delivery across complex engineering programs for a leading global financial services client. The role focuses on release governance, Agile execution, and cross-team coordination, ensuring structured and compliant delivery from development through production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end release lifecycle management including planning, validation, approvals, and deployment governance
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product) to ensure alignment on sprint and release objectives
  • Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues with proactive escalation and mitigation
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
  • Ensure high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Coordinate production releases and support incident triage, resolution tracking, and post-incident reviews
  • Prepare weekly and monthly governance reports covering delivery status, risks, and key metrics
  • Drive adherence to SDLC standards, audit requirements, and internal compliance processes

Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or Scrum roles
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
