Your Role:

As the Key Account Manager – Public Safety & Security you own FF EAI Robotics revenue in the public safety and security-patrol ecosystem of your state region: police and fire departments, municipalities, campuses, and commercial security operators. You commercialize the FX Aegis Max D platform for patrol support, surveillance, facility security, and emergency-response scenarios, and are accountable for unit sales, revenue, and positive per-unit contribution margin.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and close opportunities with law enforcement agencies, fire departments, municipal governments, and commercial security providers across the assigned state region
  • Navigate SLED (state, local, education) procurement: pilots, sole-source justifications, RFPs, grant funding, and council approvals
  • Run structured pilot programs (patrol routes, surveillance integration, emergency-response support) with the regional FAE and convert them into standardized, repeatable deployments
  • Develop referenceable agency deployments that can be replicated across neighboring jurisdictions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline in CRM with per-lead Jira tracking; meet the 48-hour first-touch SLA on assigned leads
  • Ensure deployments meet applicable compliance, privacy, and community-engagement requirements in coordination with FF legal
  • Provide monthly forecast inputs to the UES 3-month rolling forecast process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B/B2G sales into public safety, government, or physical-security markets (security technology, surveillance, drones/robotics, or public-sector IT)
  • Working knowledge of SLED procurement cycles, grant programs, and government contracting vehicles
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas with margin accountability
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Existing relationships with police/fire command staff or municipal procurement officers
  • Experience with security robotics, drone programs, or video-surveillance platforms
  • Prior public-safety or military service background
