JOB PURPOSE:

The Vaccines Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for driving area sales results through ensuring open patient access to GSK Vaccines. The role focuses on executing area business plans, supporting key prescribers and account drivers from multiple disciplines, and actively engaging customers to promote GSK therapies and enhance the company’s image. The KAM works cross-functionally with the marketing and medical teams to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts, collaborating to ensure the successful launch and ongoing promotion of promoted products.

This role is recruiting for work within the Jerusalem +Center of Israel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a business sales plan for territory growth, including setting appropriate short- and long-term objectives for customers and hospitals to achieve/surpass targets.
  • Continuously demonstrate a deep understanding of customer and hospital needs, challenges, and operating environments.
  • Build and maintain trusting and respectful relationships with HCPs in multiple disciplines to ensure the promotion of GSK products and the company's image.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor companies, products, positioning and how HCPs view the overall landscape.
  • Effectively ask questions to understand customer and hospital needs, enabling solutions for challenges faced by Israeli healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a results-oriented working environment by bringing positive energy and commitment, holding oneself and others accountable for delivering on objectives and behaving in a collaborative way.
  • Ensure all activities and plans are carried out in accordance with the company's high standards of ethics and compliance and that all legal and regulatory requirements are applied.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Significant and recent sales experience as KAM (minimum 2 years) is mandatory (incl. territory management through Veeva, Business Plan & omni-channel marketing).
  • Academic degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry and other life sciences).
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to foster relationships and effectively represent the company to relevant external stakeholders

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

  • Working knowledge of computer technology, Word, Excel, PPT and agility to learn new programs
  • Self-starter who is innovative, agile, accountable, thoughtful and a fearless collaborator
  • Positive and solution-based thinker who is creative and persuasive.
