TEAM OVERVIEW

Established in 2008, KKR’s rapidly growing infrastructure platform has over $60bn under management and is among the most active private infrastructure investors globally across a broad range of critical infrastructure assets (including transportation, digital infrastructure, energy, utilities and social infrastructure). The team is currently investing the Firm’s fifth closed-end flagship fund and is the largest manager of Asia Pacific infrastructure. To complement the flagship strategy, KKR launched the Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund (“DCIF”) in 2020 as well as K-INFRA and KIF, strategies focused on the private wealth market, in 2023, both of which invest alongside the KKR Infrastructure platform. Also in 2023 KKR launched a Global Climate strategy.

The global team of approximately 100 investment professionals target investments in OECD markets (based in North America, Asia and Western Europe) with a focus on core-plus infrastructure businesses that have a strong track record and potential for operational improvement and growth.

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is seeking to hire an Associate to support the leadership team of our monthly-subscription Infrastructure vehicles targeted at the private wealth space (the “K-Series”). The Associate will work with the COO, the broader global Infrastructure team and various other internal stakeholders to determine and prioritize projects, complete deliverables, and transform/operationalize recurring processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain models to support portfolio construction and risk management for a pair of semi-liquid infrastructure private equity vehicles
  • Produce pro forma analysis based on addition of potential new acquisitions
  • Generate ad hoc analysis and reports for portfolio managers and board of S and Luxembourg entities
  • Manage onboarding process for potential new portfolio companies
  • Coordinate workstreams among deal execution team, tax analysis, legal advisors, treasury and deal closing functions
  • Prepare analysis for clients on infrastructure holdings, portfolio characteristics and drivers of return

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-5 years’ experience at an asset management firm, investment bank, management consulting firm, or in another finance-related role with similar responsibilities.
  • Academic experience as an undergraduate in finance, math, computer science or engineering is preferred
  • Familiarity with infrastructure investments is a plus, but not necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate creative solutions to unstructured
  • Meticulous organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail
  • Comprehension of basic quantitative financial concepts, such as performance calculations, risk analysis, valuation techniques, portfolio optimization techniques, and / or statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency with analyzing and modeling financial data in Excel
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (R, Stata, Matlab, Python, etc.), database query tools (SQL, Snowflake, ), and / or data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Technical and aesthetic mastery of both PowerPoint and Excel
  • Proven ability to manage demands of multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range

$150,000$175,000 USD
