About Zip

Here at Zip, we're reimagining how modern businesses function in the age of AI. The simple task of buying software, services, or tools at work has become hopelessly complicated at even the most innovative companies in the world. Today, enterprises spend $120T+ per year globally (>30 times larger than annual consumer e-commerce spend) and rely on vendors more than ever before to run their businesses.

Our co-founders started Zip in 2020 to address this seemingly universal problem with a purpose-built procurement platform that provides a simple, consumer-grade user experience. Within the last 5 years, Zip has created a new category and developed the leading solution in this $50B+ TAM space. Today, the world’s leading companies like OpenAI, Snowflake, Anthropic, Coinbase, and JPMorgan Chase rely on Zip to manage billions of dollars in spend.

We have a world-class team coming from category-defining companies like Airbnb, Meta, Stripe, Salesforce, Apple, and Google. With a $2.2 billion valuation and $370 million in funding from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, BOND, DST Global, and CRV, we’re focused on developing cutting-edge technology, expanding into new global markets, and—above all–driving incredible value for our customers. Join us!

Your Role

Zip is hiring a lead brand events marketer to own and lead the execution of our most critical brand and corporate events: conferences, summits, brand stunts, and company kickoffs. You'll create unforgettable experiences that drive brand affinity, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate pipeline and growth.

This is not a field marketing role. It's a brand-building, community-deepening, culture-making role. You'll be the person who transforms Zip's events into brand-defining moments, one activation, one unforgettable experience at a time. You believe B2B events don't have to be boring, and you're on a mission to prove it.

You bring equal parts creative vision and operational rigor. You can storyboard an event concept in the morning and negotiate a production contract in the afternoon. You know what great brand events look and feel like, and you hold that standard in every decision you make.

What you'll own

Zip's flagship event program: Lead the vision, strategy, and end-to-end execution of Zip's owned event portfolio, managing the full lifecycle from concept and creative direction through production planning, agency management, budget ownership, on-site execution, and post-event analysis. This includes:

  • Zip Forward, our marquee annual conferences held in London and New York, bringing together customers, prospects, and the broader Zip community for a full-scale brand and product experience

  • Zip Summit Series, our global executive summit program that takes Zip Forward on the road across the US and Europe on a quarterly cadence, creating intimate, high-impact experiences for senior buyers and customers

  • Company kickoff & Zip Day, partnering with our people team to produce our largest internal moments with the same production quality we bring to external events

Brand stunts & experiential activations: Identify, design, and execute one-off brand moments: pop-ups, immersive activations, and in-market stunts that stop people in their tracks, generate earned media, drive social amplification, and create genuine cultural relevance.

Holistic brand event calendar: Build and own Zip's brand event calendar, designing the tentpole moments that anchor our broader field marketing and third-party event strategy. Ensure every event ladders up to a cohesive brand narrative with a clear throughline across the year.

Event promotion & digital presence: Own the end-to-end promotional strategy for each event across digital and physical channels, including email, social, paid media, sponsorships, direct physical invitations, and event websites.

Cross-functional leadership & agency management: Serve as the connective tissue across brand, product marketing, corporate messaging, design, lifecycle, field marketing, sales, and customer success. Manage high-caliber event production agencies and creative vendors to execute at the highest level.

What we're looking for

Experience & background

  • 7+ years leading brand events, experiential marketing, or creative event programs, ideally within a high-growth SaaS, tech, or consumer company

  • Proven track record producing large-scale conferences, executive summits, and flagship owned events with real community and business impact

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets with financial rigor, strong vendor relationships, and disciplined ROI thinking

  • Comfortable building and scaling programs in fast-moving environments without a large team or established playbook

  • Ability to travel quarterly for on-site event execution

Creative & strategic craft

  • A strong, distinctive creative point of view — you know what makes an event feel like a brand moment rather than a boring corporate conference, and you fight for that standard

  • Exceptional content and narrative instincts: you can shape event themes, speaker programs, and onstage storytelling that move audiences

  • Experience directing production designers, spatial designers, and creative vendors to execute ambitious concepts on budget

  • A genuine obsession with culture, aesthetics, and community, and a portfolio that shows it

Operational excellence

  • Strong project management discipline with tight timelines, clear stakeholder communications, and structured post-mortems

  • Experience building event measurement frameworks that track brand sentiment, pipeline influence, ROI, and customer engagement

  • Highly cross-functional by nature, skilled at driving alignment without formal authority

The salary range for this role is $175,000 - $215,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workspace where everyone (regardless of age, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and more) feels like they belong. We look forward to hearing from you!
