Lead Designer

We're building cutting-edge LLM-powered tools that supercharge investment research for the world's most demanding deal teams. Our clients include several of the top 10 global private equity firms, Big 4 professional services firms, and leading consulting practices: organisations responsible for deploying billions of dollars annually.

We're a profitable, bootstrapped company with a growing team of ~28 people based in London and New York. We 10x'd our revenue in 2025 and are on track to grow 2-3x again this year. Junior saves clients an average of 10 hours per week, and we're expanding fast into new verticals including investment banking, hedge funds, and research firms.

Junior’s users are consulting and private equity professionals at global strategy firms, boutique M&A shops, and independent investment teams—overworked, time‑poor, and highly intelligent. They spend far too much of their day on administrative busywork instead of the high‑impact analysis they were hired to do: juggling dozens of research and diligence calls, wrestling with messy transcripts, hunting down the right quotes, tracking entities across projects, and manually plugging insights into decks—all under brutal deadlines.

Junior cuts through that friction by automating call ingestion, transcript cleanup, quote extraction, and insight structuring so they can focus on deep problem‑solving, deal sourcing, and crafting the recommendations that move the needle.

As our only designer, you'll have the unique opportunity to:

• Ship quickly

• Design and build new modes of working with computers

• Work on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs

• Collaborate closely with our external partners to fuel our growth

• Contribute to product decisions, direction and prioritization

• First of a kind human-in-the-loop UI design elements to guide LLMs

• AI-driven, auto-filled, hypothesis tracker for investment research

• Design & build a mobile app from scratch in 3 weeks

• Real-time collaboration tools for consultants and investors

We're looking for a product-minded designer who:

• Has exceptional taste and design judgement

• Strong product sensibilities

• Is based in NYC — we have a huge bias for IRL work

• Has experience leading projects end-to-end and taking ideas from conception to execution independently

• Is opinionated about their work and eager to contribute to product decisions

• Has strong communication skills and a desire for a client-facing role — as a small team, we expect that everyone will be working closely with our external partners

• Loves collaborating with engineers—we have a lot more of them than designers

• Is curious about AI tools and how they might speed up design-to-code cycles. We love experimentation and encourage it at every level
