Location: Remote – Americas Team (Open to applicants located throughout North & South America)
Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR.
As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll own design outcomes on complex client engagements—shaping product experiences from early discovery through delivery and iteration.
This role is for a senior individual contributor who leads through clarity, influence, and craft. You’ll work closely with researchers, product managers, engineers, and clients to translate insight into thoughtful, scalable design solutions while holding a high bar for quality and usability.
Intentionally remote and globally distributed across six continents, our team thrives in a culture that values flexibility, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. Together, we’re shaping the future of digital experiences.
What you will do:- Own end-to-end product design across one or more client engagements, guiding work from discovery through launch while ensuring cohesive, user-centered outcomes.
- Translate research, business goals, and technical constraints into clear, usable product experiences that balance elegance with feasibility.
- Design across platforms—including web and mobile—creating systems and experiences that scale and meet accessibility standards.
- Collaborate closely with research, product, and engineering partners to align on intent, tradeoffs, and delivery throughout the lifecycle.
- Set and uphold a high bar for design quality, producing thoughtful artifacts and interfaces that reflect Fueled’s standards for craft and polish.
- Deliver high-quality product experiences that translate insight into clear, intuitive solutions users can trust and teams can scale.
- Help teams and clients navigate ambiguity by bringing structure, rationale, and momentum to complex design challenges.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by clearly articulating design decisions and aligning partners around shared goals.
- Elevate the quality and consistency of design work across engagements through critique, feedback, and example.
- Contribute to products that are not only well-designed, but meaningful, durable, and impactful for users and businesses.
- You bring 6–10+ years of experience in product design, UX, or digital design, including ownership of complex products or platforms.
- You’re comfortable working in ambiguity and skilled at creating clarity without needing perfect information.
- You design with intent, grounding decisions in research, evidence, and user context—not personal preference.
- You lead through influence, collaboration, and thoughtful communication rather than hierarchy or title.
- You care deeply about craft and outcomes, balancing polish with pragmatism and knowing when to refine versus ship.
Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, projects, geographic location, and business needs.
