What You Will Do
- Own the technical roadmap for Global Parts Pricing and provide architecture leadership across analytics, data, integration, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Partner with business leaders, Caterpillar IT, and analytics teams to align technology strategy with business goals.
- Design and oversee scalable architecture solutions spanning enterprise applications, integrations, analytics platforms, and cloud technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and methodologies supporting future-state architecture.
- Lead solution architecture reviews including application architecture, data architecture, integration design, and platform architecture.
- Drive the adoption of machine learning, automation, and Generative AI capabilities across the pricing ecosystem.
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop Proofs of Concept and architecture recommendations supporting business transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical mentorship and architecture guidance for junior architects and project teams.
- Ensure architecture decisions align with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
What You Have
Enterprise Architecture
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data, analytics, application, and platform architectures.
- Ability to translate business requirements into future-state technical architecture and solution strategies.
Data, Analytics & AI
- Working knowledge of analytics platforms, machine learning concepts, Generative AI, and modern data architectures.
- Understanding of data architecture, integrations, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics ecosystems.
Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with:
- Python
- SQL
- Snowflake
- AWS
- Experience working with cloud-native architecture, integrations, APIs, and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
