Adaptive is hiring a Lead, Video Content: a self-starting creative powerhouse who will lead video strategy and execution from concept to publish. You’ll own the entire video lifecycle: scripting, shooting, directing, editing, animating, and distributing. From high-impact customer testimonials and launch trailers to behind-the-scenes interviews and social-first content, your work will define Adaptive’s voice in motion.

You’ll collaborate with founders, marketers, designers, and engineers to tell the story of Adaptive, our product, and our customers through video. You’ll also develop creative strategies for short-form content across LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter, turning our mission into must-watch moments.

This is a full-stack production role with massive ownership—and the chance to build something lasting from scratch.

• Own scripting, shooting, sound, directing, editing, and post-production.

• Produce and edit long-form content (e.g. customer interviews, company spotlights) and short-form assets (e.g. product teasers, motion graphics, social clips).

• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and design to translate ideas into compelling video narratives.

• Pitch and execute new formats—from CEO interviews to social series and event recaps.

• Build systems for repeatable storytelling across formats, platforms, and use cases.

• Tailor content strategies and formats for LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).

• Optimize content for engagement, retention, and virality.

• Monitor performance and iterate quickly based on what works.

• Work across teams to source testimonials, coordinate shoots, and plan creative direction.

• Jump in on everything from last-minute product updates to high-profile company announcements.

• Keep production timelines tight and quality high.

• You’ve built standout videos from idea to final edit—across formats and platforms.

• You’re equally comfortable filming on-location, running remote interviews, editing and animating.

• You know how to find the hook, build the arc, and land the message.

• You love telling stories that make people feel something—excitement, curiosity, confidence.

• You understand how content performs on LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube—and you can build natively for each.

• You’re up-to-date on trends, formats, and best practices.
