Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Leave Specialist to manage employee leave programs including FMLA, disability, and other leave types. This role requires strong knowledge of leave laws, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage leave requests in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave matters
  • Own the relationship with third-party leave of absence vendor, including managing service levels, resolving escalations, and ensuring contractual obligations are met
  • Interpret leave policies and provide guidance to managers and employees
  • Track leave usage and maintain accurate documentation
  • Coordinate with benefits providers and third-party administrators
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all leave documentation
  • Conduct leave audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws
  • Develop and maintain leave management procedures
  • Stay current with changing leave laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in leave administration
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, and disability programs
  • Experience with HRIS and leave management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • CLMS or CPDM certification preferred

*The role is remote and compensation will depend on location. 

US Salary Range
$85,000$112,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
