United States, Remote
Legal and compliance professionals are some of the best-placed people in the world to shape how AI gets deployed inside enterprises. This is that role.
Haast is one of the first enterprise-grade AI platforms built specifically for legal and compliance teams. We're looking for someone who has practiced law or worked deeply inside compliance, understands how these teams actually operate, and wants to use that knowledge to transform how global enterprises handle compliance forever.
This isn't a legal role. But the people who thrive in this position know legal and compliance work from the inside.
About Haast
We've transformed compliance from a painful checkbox exercise into an intelligent, automated workflow, cutting review times by 80% and boosting productivity 4x.
Think Canva for design. Atlassian for projects. Haast for compliance.
We sit where the hard problems live: Legal, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, and Technology. We're building the system of action for compliance at scale, and the US is our largest opportunity globally.
Why This Role Exists
Compliance is a $50B global problem, and we are rewriting how it's solved.
When Haast lands inside a Tier-1 enterprise, someone needs to understand their legal workflows well enough to deconstruct them, identify the real friction, and architect the AI strategy that fixes it. That person needs to speak the language of General Counsels and CMOs, and know from experience where legal teams actually get stuck.
What You'll Own
Lead AI implementation projects end-to-end, from onboarding through to full rollout
Work with enterprise legal and compliance teams to deconstruct their workflows and identify where AI can do the heavy lifting
Translate complex, real-world legal documents into structured logic our AI can act on
Help legal, compliance, and marketing users understand, trust, and master the platform
Troubleshoot strategic and technical blockers and find clear paths through them
Feed live customer insights back to Product and Engineering to shape Haast's roadmap
Build repeatable playbooks as we scale our global footprint
What We're Looking For
Practiced law or worked inside a legal or compliance function at a professional level, ideally in a commercial, compliance, or regulatory context
Enough time in the role to genuinely understand how legal teams operate under pressure, not just in theory
The credibility to hold a room with senior legal and compliance stakeholders from day one
A mind that wants to fix systems, not just work within them
Comfortable with ambiguity and energised by building, not just executing
Already curious about AI, tinkering with tools and asking how they apply to legal work
This is a customer-facing, implementation-led position. Your legal and compliance background is the foundation, not the job itself.
Why Haast
Use what you know differently: your legal and compliance experience is the reason you'll be great at this. It's not something to leave behind.
Work on something real: Haast is already trusted by major global enterprises. This isn't a pilot program.
Grow fast: learn more in 12 months than most roles offer in three years.
Compensation & benefits: Competitive base salary & meaningful equity options
Benefits: 401k, health insurance, generous PTO, US Remote/Flexible working.
Culture: Ambitious, product-led, and built for learning and growth.
How to Apply
Send us two things:
1. Your CV, including your legal or compliance background
2. A short note: Why Haast? Why Now?
Applications reviewed on an ongoing basis. No closing date.
At Haast, we believe bold ideas come from diverse perspectives. Even if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you.
