Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast, both in terms of volume and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help.
About the RoleThe legal team at Polymarket operates in one of the most scrutinized corners of the internet. We move fast, face real regulatory complexity, and can't afford to lose track of a filing date or let a contract sit unsigned. This role exists because the team needs someone who takes operational ownership seriously and treats process as a competitive advantage, not an afterthought.
As part of the Legal Ops team, you'll be the connective tissue between the legal team and the rest of the company. You'll own the systems that keep contracts moving, deadlines met, and requests handled before they become problems. You won't need your hand held. You'll be expected to look around corners, flag issues early, and keep things running even when priorities shift fast.
This is an IC role with real responsibility from day one. If you've worked in legal ops or supported senior legal professionals before and you're looking for a place where your work actually matters, this is it.
What You'll DoOwn the full contract lifecycle workflow, from intake and routing to signature collection and storage, making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Proofread NDAs, vendor agreements, and internal memos with minimal supervision, flagging anything that needs attorney review before it becomes a problem.
Manage the legal team's calendars, regulatory filing deadlines, and compliance milestones so the team is never caught off guard.
Triage incoming legal requests from across the company, assess urgency, and route them to the right person with the right context.
Maintain clean, organized filing systems for all legal documents and compliance records so anyone on the team can find what they need immediately.
Build and improve operational systems, including contract trackers, intake processes, and vendor logs, that the team will actually use on a daily basis.
Support senior legal staff with scheduling, document preparation, and confidential communications, handling sensitive information with discretion at all times.
2+ years of experience in a legal ops or executive assistant role supporting a legal or compliance team.
Demonstrated ability to manage contract workflows and compliance calendars independently, without waiting to be told what needs to happen next.
Strong written communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, especially when reviewing or drafting legal documents.
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where priorities can shift and the playbook isn't always written yet.
Proven track record of building or improving operational systems, such as filing structures, intake workflows, or contract trackers, that colleagues actually adopt and use.
Experience supporting senior attorneys or legal executives and handling confidential information with discretion.
(Plus) Prior experience at a crypto or fintech company with exposure to the regulatory environment that comes with it.
(Plus) Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools like Ironclad, or project and documentation tools like Notion.
