Contracts Manager

We are seeking a Contracts Manager to join our growing Legal Team! This individual will assist with contract management, regulatory filings, legal documents and compliance obligations. In addition, this person will be a major contributor to various projects, and will work cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.
Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, and will thus have the opportunity to own and implement many processes across the Legal Team as the company rapidly scales. Additionally, this is a new role, and would be perfect for someone who wants to make an immediate impact on Cedar’s legal functions, take ownership in regards to operating and improving processes, and continue to grow and expand their skill set with a high growth team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, implementing and operating a contract management process
- Handle regulatory filings as necessary
- Assist with the development, implementation and operation of a deal desk
- Be responsible for review and redlining of NDAs and other contracts
- Assist with larger contracts
- Be responsible for entity management and related filings
- Assist with legal compliance obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree; JD and/or MBA is a plus
- 5+ years of general legal experience with technology transactions (SaaS), preferably within an in-house legal team
- Knowledge of data privacy and ideally CIPP certified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Salesforce and Docusign is a plus
- Experience Jira is a plus
- Highly organized and proactive with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Cross collaborative - both internally across the organization and externally
- Passionate about Cedar’s mission of improving the healthcare finance experience
