Primary Role: The Manager, Legal Affairs will join the Tapestry, Inc. Legal Department, to support the Coach, Kate Spade and Stuart Weitzman brands. This position will report to attorneys in the Legal Department and primarily support the litigation, labor and employment, and health and safety areas. This position is not an attorney-level role.

Support both large litigation matters, such as class actions, as well as single plaintiff personal injury and employment lawsuits, arbitrations, and administrative claims
Serve as a liaison between Legal Department attorneys and internal business partners, particularly in document collection/ review and policy rollout
Serve as a liaison between Legal Department and outside counsel, particularly in connection with the production of documents and processing of invoices
Identify, gather and analyze information and documents for subpoena and discovery responses
Draft document preservation notices
Assist with responses to health and safety-related issues
Draft and coordinate responses to subpoenas and governmental and administrative claims and charges (i.e., EEOC, OSHA and Ministry of Labor)
Manage docketing and ensure compliance with internal and external deadlines
Assist with tracking legal developments, identify issues and recommend possible solutions and courses of action to Legal Department’s attorneys
Maintain and update information on Legal Department litigation and contract and databases
Perform factual and legal research utilizing specialized software (e.g. Westlaw, Pacer) and internal database software and tools to locate, compile and analyze information
The accomplished individual will possess . . .
A Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant work experience
2+ years of experience in a law firm or corporate in-house setting
Experience working with internal or external teams to gather and organize facts and documents
Work experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) & Adobe Professional
