Position Overview:

Citi Wealth is a leading provider of financial solutions for affluent, high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients around the world. We are looking to hire a Lending Business Analysis Lead within the Wealth Lending platform transformation team. As part of this team, you will drive strategic initiatives to modernize and innovate our lending product suite. This includes leading the evolution of existing platforms and spearheading the implementation of new capabilities that enhance client experience and operational efficiency.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of business analysis professionals across multiple systems and functional areas, setting direction, allocating work, managing performance, and building team capability to deliver against transformation objectives.
  • Define and execute the product transformation strategy for Wealth Lending, ensuring platform initiatives are aligned with broader Citi Wealth business goals and evolving market demands.
  • Collaborate with senior business leadership to refine market and platform strategy, translating complex business requirements into actionable product and technology roadmaps.
  • Establish and lead strategies to develop, negotiate, and implement new lending platform capabilities and product offerings — from initial concept through to launch and ongoing lifecycle management.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external partners to advance the development of new and enhanced platform capabilities across Citi lines of business.
  • Oversee business case development, technology negotiations, and deal management processes, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive large-scale implementations to completion.
  • Assess risk in business decisions with clear accountability, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and transparency.
  • Develop staffing strategies, manage budgets, and contribute to defining operational standards that support a high-performing business analysis function.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product transformation, business analysis, or a related discipline, with a demonstrated history of delivering large-scale implementations within the lending domain, banking technology, or financial services.
  • Experience directly managing and developing teams, including responsibilities such as performance evaluation, work allocation, and building a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Experience in new business development or product development, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives through the full product implementation lifecycle.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, with clear ownership of delivery outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to draw insight from complex information to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse business and technology audiences at senior levels.
  • Fluency in structuring financial offers and negotiating complex, multi-year agreements, with strong senior-level negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience managing P&L responsibility within a product or platform transformation context.
  • An established senior-level network across financial services, with existing relationships with industry advisors and prospective technology or platform partners.
  • Foundational understanding of programming concepts, supporting effective collaboration with technology and engineering teams.
  • Master's degree or equivalent advanced professional qualification in a relevant discipline.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
