Why Join AngelList

We’re solving some of the hardest problems in venture capital and private markets. You’ll work with a team that values precision, urgency, and long-term thinking. If you want to shape how startups are funded and built, this is the place.

About AngelList

We exist to accelerate innovation by increasing the number of successful startups in the world. We do this by building the financial infrastructure that makes it easier for more people to invest in world-changing companies.

AngelList is the nexus of venture capital and the startup community. We support $171B+ in assets and have powered investments into over 13,000 startups—over 300 of which are unicorns. Today, 57% of top-tier U.S. VC deals involve investors on AngelList. While our scale is large, our ambition is larger.

If you're excited to build the future of private markets, come build with us.

About the Role

When a GP raises a fund on AngelList, their LPs are trusting the platform just as much as the GP themselves. These are the investors whose capital ultimately funds venture-backed startups, and that trust has to be earned operationally: through accurate reporting, clean document management, correct money movement, and someone capable on the other end when they have a question. LP Relations is that team at AngelList. Making that trust feel warranted is the job.

This is a customer-facing role. You'll own communications with our LP investors, serve as a front line representative of AngelList, and work cross-functionally with legal, tax, banking, and product teams to resolve issues and deliver a best-in-class service. Day to day, that means helping investors navigate fund economics, capital calls, wire and banking issues, distributions, subscription documents, tax questions, and fund reporting. Every interaction teaches you something about how capital flows, how our platform operates, and what investors actually need.

We expect you to grind and we expect you to think. Notice patterns, surface opportunities to improve, develop opinions about how things should work. You'll directly contribute to our ability to scale our solutions for both new and existing LPs. The path from specialist to associate is built by individuals who use that foundation to develop real judgment - about our investors, our product, and how to solve problems that don't have playbooks.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the full range of inbound LP inquiries - fund economics, capital calls, wire and banking issues, distributions, subscription documents, K-1s and tax questions, and fund reporting - with accuracy and professionalism
  • Maintain response and service quality and consistency across high volume
  • Develop deep product knowledge across AngelList's fund administration platform
  • Identify urgent or sensitive issues, escalate with clear context, and recognize patterns and edge cases that inform how we improve our products, processes, and services
  • Contribute to improving team processes, playbooks, and tooling as you build expertise - including evaluating and implementing software and AI-driven workflows that enable a better investor experience at scale
  • Support relationship management with key customers
  • Work across legal, tax, banking, and product to get things resolved, not just passed along

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Write clearly and adapt tone based on audience - an institutional LP and a first-time angel investor need different things from the same email
  • Are genuinely curious about how capital flows through private markets and find the operational complexity underneath it interesting
  • Take initiative and work well on a team - you solve problems without waiting for permission, ask good questions instead of guessing, and pull for the people around you
  • Stay composed under pressure - tax season, delayed wires, frustrated investors. You don't lose quality when things get busy or patience when someone is upset
  • Are comfortable working with AI tools and eager to find ways to use them to work faster and smarter
  • Have 0-1+ years of experience, ideally in a customer-facing role with operational responsibilities, and want a role where you're given real responsibility and agency from day one

Working Here

If you don't meet every requirement above, we still encourage you to apply. We value complementary strengths and operators who learn by doing.

We operate out of hubs in New York City and San Francisco. This role will be based in our New York City office. We have a hybrid in-office model: teammates come in at least 2 days per week (Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday). Exceptions may be made for exceptional individual contributor candidates in other locations.

Compensation:

The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. The base salary for this role is $90,000+ annually but actual will vary based on a number of factors including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location.
