Owned by FOX Corporation, FOX News Media reaches 200 million people each month.JOB DESCRIPTIONAmerica’s Newsroom is looking for a sharp, creative, and highly motivated Line Producer to oversee the live production of the program’s 10 AM hour. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, breaking news environment, exercises strong editorial judgment, and understands how to create compelling television. The Line Producer is more than an executor—they are a key contributor to the editorial process who consistently generates ideas, identifies opportunities, and helps shape the day’s coverage. We are looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, and eager to grow into expanded editorial and leadership responsibilities.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, maintain, and execute the rundown for the 10 AM hour
- Manage live control room production and make real-time editorial decisions during breaking news
- Collaborate with senior producers, bookers, and associate producers to develop daily coverage
- Identify strong video, soundbites, graphics, and visual storytelling opportunities
- Produce guest segments, reporter hits, anchor discussions, and breaking news coverage
- Copy edit scripts, banners, and graphics to ensure accuracy, clarity, and strong storytelling
- Monitor multiple news sources and flag important developments throughout the day
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute original story ideas and segment concepts
- Communicate clearly and effectively with talent, directors, and technical staff during live broadcasts
- Assist with social media and cross-platform content initiatives as needed
- Help mentor junior producers and contribute to a collaborative team environment
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
- Prior television and live control room experience
- Proven ability to make sound editorial decisions independently in a fast-paced news environment
- Strong news judgment and passion for breaking news, politics, and current events
- Excellent writing, copy editing, and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under deadline pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with iNews, Dalet, VIZ, and newsroom production workflows
- Ability to identify compelling elements that elevate television storytelling
- Demonstrated curiosity about emerging technologies, audience trends, and new workflows that can enhance storytelling and newsroom efficiency
- Desire to grow into larger editorial and leadership responsibilities

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
