The ideal candidate is highly responsive, organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable making decisions independently using established processes and escalation pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Sprinters with time-sensitive travel issues, including flight disruptions, hotel concerns, transportation changes, and other unexpected travel needs

  • Coordinate and make necessary changes to existing travel arrangements using established company guidelines

  • Troubleshoot issues and identify practical solutions that minimize operational disruption and unnecessary travel costs

  • Determine when an issue can be resolved independently versus when it requires escalation

  • Escalate urgent or high-impact issues to the appropriate on-call team member or leader

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Sprinters and internal stakeholders throughout issue resolution

  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, decisions, travel changes, and associated costs

  • Provide clear handoffs to the weekday Logistics team for unresolved issues or items requiring follow-up

  • Follow established travel policies, SOPs, and escalation procedures

Typical Issues You May Support
  • Flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections

  • Last-minute hotel changes or accommodation issues

  • Rental car or ground transportation problems

  • Unexpected changes to a Sprinter's travel assignment

  • Urgent travel booking or rebooking needs

  • Questions from traveling Sprinters requiring immediate assistance

  • Situations requiring escalation due to cost, safety, or operational impact

What We're Looking For
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented when handling time-sensitive issues

  • Strong judgment and ability to independently triage requests

  • High level of reliability and responsiveness during scheduled coverage

  • Comfort working independently with limited real-time supervision

  • Ability to follow established policies while using good judgment when unexpected situations arise

  • Comfort working across multiple systems and communication channels

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in travel coordination, logistics, operations, dispatch, field support, customer support, or a similar role

  • Experience supporting employees or teams who travel frequently

  • Experience handling urgent or after-hours operational issues

  • Familiarity with Slack and travel booking platforms

Schedule

This is a temporary position focused specifically on coverage outside of standard business hours.

Coverage may include:

  • Weekday evenings

  • Weekends

  • Select holidays, as needed

Specific coverage hours and scheduling expectations will be established in advance.

Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Urgent travel issues receive timely responses and resolution

  • Sprinters know where to go for support when issues arise outside of business hours

  • Travel disruptions have minimal impact on scheduled operations

  • Issues are escalated appropriately without unnecessary escalation

  • Travel changes balance the needs of the Sprinter, the business, and cost

  • Weekday teams receive clear, accurate handoffs with minimal cleanup required
