Role Overview
As Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of global shipping and distribution activities, ensuring that every shipment - from factory release to final delivery - meets stringent standards for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role demands precise coordination across carriers, customs, and internal teams to safeguard delivery performance, control costs, and uphold regulatory integrity across all international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee high-volume, high-frequency international shipments - across sea, air, and road - from multiple production sites to global markets.
Prepare, review, and manage complete sets of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, health certificates, inspection reports, and any product-specific regulatory documents required for customs clearance.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and factory teams to ensure timely, compliant delivery of goods.
Monitor shipments in real time and take proactive steps to resolve any delays, holds, or transit disruptions.
Identify areas to streamline logistics workflows, reduce freight and handling costs, and improve delivery performance.
Ensure full compliance with international trade laws, customs requirements, and relevant product-specific regulations.
Maintain organized, up-to-date logistics records, trackers, and reporting systems to support operational transparency.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to align inventory readiness with demand forecasts and shipping schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of practical experience in logistics or international shipping, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, or high-volume supply chain environments.
Extensive working knowledge of Incoterms, international customs clearance protocols, and complex multi-country trade documentation requirements.
Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Effective communicator in written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and experienced with logistics or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
