What you’ll do

  • Run the full deal lifecycle from initial outreach through LOI, diligence, closing, and early integration

  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of investment targets, including direct outreach to firm owners, brokers, and advisors

  • Develop investment theses, conduct market mapping, and prioritize targets aligned with Modus’ strategy

  • Lead cross-functional diligence across financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and technology workstreams

  • Own valuation and underwriting, including building financial models, scenario analyses, and return frameworks

  • Partner with operations and finance on post-close integration planning and early performance tracking

What we look for

  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or strategy consulting

  • Demonstrated experience executing transactions across the full lifecycle, with increasing ownership

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to independently build and pressure-test operating and deal models

  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear and concise communicator with strong judgment and decision-making discipline

  • High ownership mindset with strong attention to detail and execution rigor

  • Bonus: experience with professional services M&A

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary ($150K–$300K+ depending on experience)
