The Opportunity

Join Adobe's Experience Intelligence team and work at the forefront of innovation by crafting, developing, and deploying powerful models and systems. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will apply AI and machine learning techniques to help Adobe better understand, lead, and optimize the experience of its customers.
We focus on problems in revenue management, such as customer conversion and retention, and delivering customer insights that drive impact in the company. We work with large-scale structured and unstructured panel data and deliver solutions at scale. We collaborate directly with multi-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, designers, and marketers, to build scalable and efficient solutions that address critical business challenges.

What You'll Do

You will design, implement, and deploy AI/ML solutions. This includes building predictive and generative models on large-scale datasets, and constructing scalable, efficient, maintainable, and interpretable pipelines and systems. Your experience in online experimentation (bandits, A/B tests, auctions) and representation learning will provide confidence in the models.

We work daily with large scale panel/time series data, build and maintain data and modeling infrastructure. When working with our business partners, we deliver not only results but also the tools to understand and act on them.

We build solutions where there wasn't one before, which requires creativity, experimentation, and resourcefulness.

What you need to succeed

  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and deep learning, and a track record of solving problems with these methods.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, and C and familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling packages.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, and a great teammate.
  • PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics, or other related fields.
  • Should have 3+ years of experience developing, training, and deploying AI/ML models, which may include PhD work.
