  • Redwood City, CA: Mondays (in-office for stand-ups, all-hands) and choice of three days between Tues-Friday
  • Chicago, IL, Denver, CO & New York, NY: 4 days in-office; 1 day remote

About the role

The Manager, Ads Measurement will serve as a key conduit between our Strategy, Product, Sales and Data Science teams and our advertising and agency customers. We are a data-driven company, and this role will require dynamic, analytical thinking and the ability to represent and evangelize Attain‘s measurement capabilities and methods to the market. This role will be responsible for presenting measurement findings as well as representing Attain externally to our key brand, agency and strategic channel partners. The person will also be responsible for partnering with internal teams to design our GTM strategies related to delivering measurement for our partners and clients at scale. 

You’ll be a great fit for the role if

  • You have a deep understanding of advertising effectiveness methods (e.g., MMM, Lifetime Value Modeling, Test/Control frameworks) and get excited about developing new approaches to solving challenging measurement problems 
  • You have an analytical mindset and thrive on delivering actionable insights that lead to client satisfaction
  • You are comfortable with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) and enjoy digging into large datasets in order to ‘separate the signal from the noise’
  • You possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • You enjoy presenting insights internally & externally and love to develop and own strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike
  • You have the ability to wear multiple hats, are a self-starter, a team player and a curious, lifelong learner
  • You are a creative thinker and storyteller who is able to transform complex data into stories that resonate
  • You have demonstrated experience with navigating ambiguity and solving challenging problems in the Advertising Measurement space

What a typical week might look like

  • Analyze and interpret campaign measurement reports & build client presentations around interpretations and analyses
  • Partner with the Data Science team to analyze data and/or review different methodological approaches to solving a problem to inform product decision-making
  • Work with multiple key stakeholders and serve as a subject matter expert on our Measurement products and overall data asset
  • Meet with an ad tech or measurement channel partner and brainstorm the best ways to bring a new measurement solution to market

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of past experience with Advertising Effectiveness or Research methodologies working at either an advertising platform, vendor, agency or brand direct in a measurement or strategy role
  • Past experience delivering value in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous team environment
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, and subsequently present interpretations in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or a scripting language (R/Python) and ability to write queries on large data sets
  • Experience building campaign measurement presentations in Powerpoint and/or Google Slides and presenting to clients
  • Experience using a data visualization tool, such as Tableau or Looker
