We are seeking an exceptional Manager of Business Development to join our Revenue team. This role will report to the VP of Business Development. The Manager of Business Development will lead and grow our mid-market BDR team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving qualified meetings, coaching and developing a team of Business Development Representatives, and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to refine our go-to-market strategy. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our outbound efforts are targeted, data-driven, and aligned with company growth goals.
Where you'll work
Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.
What you will do:- Track, analyze, and optimize team performance metrics using Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales enablement tools.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing BDRs to meet and exceed pipeline and meeting-generation goals.
- Provide ongoing feedback and career development for team members through regular 1:1s, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in business development, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable using data to coach and drive performance.
- Proven track record of building and scaling outbound sales or BDR/SDR teams in a high-growth environment.
- Expertise with Salesforce, Outreach, and ZoomInfo (or equivalent tools).
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or a complex B2B sales environment is a plus.
- A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.

Compensation Transparency:The base salary for this position is $105,000. This position is also commission eligible. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.
