JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is seeking a Manager, CRM Analytics to support the data, measurement, and insights work behind CRM and lifecycle marketing across FOX News Digital, FOX Business Digital, FOX Nation, and FOX Weather. This role is hands-on with reporting, segmentation, testing, and data quality, helping power subscriber growth, engagement, and retention across the portfolio.

This role will collaborate and supply analytics to stakeholders such as the VP, CRM, Editorial leadership and operational CRM teams, ensuring day-to-day analytics work directly informs lifecycle strategy and campaign execution across brands.

** This is not a Data Engineering role **

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Daily & Recurring Reporting

  • Own the daily push alert and executive CRM reporting cadence across FOX News Digital, FOX Business Digital, FOX Nation, and FOX Weather, delivered consistently to editorial, marketing, and executive stakeholders.

  • Write clear, insight-driven executive summaries that go beyond raw metrics — connecting push/email/in-app performance to specific content, subject line, and framing decisions editorial and marketing teams can act on.

  • Maintain and evolve month-over-month and other recurring performance comparisons (e.g., list size, send volume, engagement benchmarks), proactively flagging anomalies (app issues, tracking gaps, data quality problems) before they distort reporting.

Hands-On Data & Query Work

  • Write and maintain SQL queries (Snowflake or comparable) against Braze campaign and canvas data to support attribution analysis, campaign performance measurement, and ad hoc stakeholder requests.

  • Build and refine attribution models (e.g., first-touch) to measure the impact of CRM campaigns on subscription conversion and migration efforts.

  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies between Braze and internal tracking documents (naming mismatches, missing campaigns, deduplication logic) and resolve them at the query level.

  • Support the transition from manual, on-demand reporting to self-service dashboards in partnership with Data/BI teams.

Campaign & Platform Analytics

  • Act as a hands-on analyst within Braze, auditing segments, validating campaign data, and supporting campaign list generation for cross-functional partners.

  • Conduct segmentation and cohort analysis to surface engagement trends, at-risk segments, and personalization opportunities across email, push, in-app, and SMS.

  • Support experimentation efforts (e.g., message format testing) by helping isolate confounding variables (such as content quality vs. format) in test design.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Serve as the analytics point of contact for both Marketing CRM and Editorial/News CRM stakeholders, tailoring reporting to each audience's distinct goals.

  • Respond to ad hoc requests from senior stakeholders with quick turnaround, clear caveats, and accurate data.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakehodlers and escalate broader trends or opportunities as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • CRM, lifecycle marketing, or data/marketing analytics experience, ideally within subscription-based, media, or digital publishing businesses.

  • Hands-on proficiency in SQL required (Snowflake or comparable) — this role writes and troubleshoots its own queries daily, not just interprets pre-built reports.

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Braze or a comparable CRM/lifecycle platform, including campaign/canvas reporting, segment auditing, and data reconciliation.

  • Strong analytical writing skills — proven ability to turn engagement data into a clear narrative with actionable recommendations for non-technical, senior stakeholders (editorial and marketing leadership alike).

  • Experience with attribution modeling and campaign performance measurement (e.g., first-touch, multi-touch).

  • Highly proficient in Excel and pivot tables; experience with Tableau and/or Adobe Analytics preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, breaking-news environment with daily deadlines and frequent ad hoc requests.

  • Detail-oriented, with a track record of catching and resolving data quality issues before they reach leadership.

  • Experience working across multiple brands or business units with distinct audiences is a plus.
