Join Goodwin’s Global Operations Team, and make a real impact on a global scale. At Goodwin, we work with some of the world’s most successful and innovative investors, entrepreneurs and disruptors in the life sciences, private equity, real estate, technology and financial industries, and where they converge. As part of the Global Operations Team – all business professionals at the firm – you’ll collaborate with colleagues from varied backgrounds and experiences, fostering an environment where cross-functional learning, networking, and collaboration are at the core of what we do.
Here, we’re not just supporting a law firm; we’re partnering with attorneys and clients to deliver cutting-edge solutions in high-stakes litigation and dispute resolution, world-class regulatory compliance and advisory services, and complex transactions. Our commitment to integrity, ingenuity, agility, and ambition drives us, and we’re proud to have been recognised as the “Best Business Team” by The American Lawyer.
This is your opportunity to grow professionally in a dynamic, global environment, surrounded by forward-thinking peers.

As the Manager, Editorial Operations in Goodwin’s Marketing and Communications Department, you will strengthen and scale the systems that power the firm’s thought leadership, web content, and digital publishing. You will play a key role in ensuring that great ideas move efficiently from concept to publication — and that every piece reflects Goodwin’s standards of quality, clarity, and compliance.

You will collaborate with colleagues across marketing, technology, and client development to improve the processes, platforms, and policies that keep Goodwin’s editorial engine running smoothly.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee daily editorial workflows — from content intake and quality assurance to publishing and distribution.
  • Manage a small team responsible for web and editorial production, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Partner with technology teams to translate editorial needs into scalable, practical solutions within our digital and content management systems.
  • Optimize end-to-end processes connecting content, marketing, and technology platforms.
  • Review and maintain publishing, risk, and compliance policies related to editorial operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships to uphold quality standards and cost efficiency.
  • Identify and integrate AI and automation tools that enhance editorial efficiency and insight.
  • Establish and track operational performance metrics to drive continuous improvement across the content lifecycle.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives that evolve how Goodwin creates and delivers digital content globally.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 7+ years of experience in editorial operations, digital publishing, or content production — ideally in a professional services or B2B environment.
  • Strong process orientation with proven success designing, documenting, and improving workflows.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), digital publishing platforms, and project management tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technology and business partners to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing vendors and balancing in-house versus outsourced support models.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies — especially AI — and their potential to advance editorial strategy and delivery.
