We are looking for a Category Finance Manager, Tate's. This person will serve as the financial adviser and business partner with the Tate's cross-functional team (Marketing, Business Development, End to End, & Category planning teams) and will lead the financial analysis for month end close activities and key projects (innovation and capital requests), in addition to driving forecast accuracy across our Tate's business.
This person will become part of strategic initiatives and decisions to improve the financial results for the Tate's business and must have the ability to work cross-functionally and influence multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the financial analysis for Tate's innovation projects in collaboration with the marketing, supply chain, and business development organizations.
  • Deliver financial commitments and run planning and forecasting activities.
  • Provide insights into key drivers for month-end close activities.
  • Drive favorable topline mix by influencing Marketing spending and trade investments, championing the waste agenda, and rigorously managing the pipeline.
  • Contribute to Integrated Business Planning by supporting management of the full Tate's P&L.

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business.
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company.
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • INTEGRITY and sound judg.

Profile :
  • Quickly able to understand the fundamentals of what drives the business; can hit the ground running and identify opportunities to 'add value' and accelerate brand growth.
  • A highly motivated, energetic and pragmatic individual with the ability to 'roll up sleeves', take responsibility for initiatives and produce results.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, deal with ambiguity and make something out of nothing, self-starter.
  • Strategic player - strong with analysis - Pricing, business model decisions, problem analysis and resolution. Ability to think creatively and have foresight regarding long term financial impact of decisions. Ability to effectively interact with others and influence the organization at all levels.
  • Demonstrated strong financial, operational, and business acumen, strong achievement and results orientation.
  • Strong learning agility with ability to challenge the status quo .

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $109,000 to $149,875; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
