The Financial Planning and Analysis team manages companywide budgeting and forecasting.  This includes operational costs, as well as capital and cash planning.

The Manager will report to the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will lead multiple companywide financial and operational planning cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead consolidation of companywide financial statements on a global basis
  • Manage multiple proforma P&Ls with a focus on identifying areas of opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare presentations for senior executives on actual results, budgets, forecasts etc.
  • Drive competitive benchmarking process and provide strategic recommendations on opportunities for growth
  • Support process and report improvements within a broader finance transformation project
  • Assist in quarterly business reviews by identifying key business drivers and trends that can be used to drive decision making across the Company
  • Support the building and management of the annual operating plan, quarterly and real-time forecasts, as well as deliverables for senior leaders
  • Help manage the consolidation and reporting for long range planning to support broader business decisions
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data from various entities to produce a comprehensive view of the company's cash projections
  • Special projects and ad hoc analyses/reports as requested

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience relating to budgeting, forecasting, and analytics
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and managing financial models (i.e. Vena Solutions, Oracle Essbase, IBM Cognos T1, etc.)
  • Experience working with financial planning software and tools 
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; ability to understand variance and trend analyses
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Desire to learn unique economic system specific to the NFL

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office.

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
