CFA Institute's Research & Policy Center serves the investment profession through research, policy, advocacy, outreach, ethics and professional conduct, working with professionals, the organisations they work for, regulators and many other stakeholders.

RPC is in the midst of a transformation. This role sits in the RPC Chief of Staff and operations function, reporting to the Chief of Staff and working closely with the Managing Director and RPC leadership team to turn strategy into coordinated, cross-functional execution.

A primary focus of the role is helping run and continuously improve RPC's Foresight-to-Influence model: the system that connects long-term foresight, research and evidence with downstream translation, adoption, influence measurement and learning.

You'll be a hands-on system integrator. You won't set strategic priorities or own the substantive work of individual teams. Instead, you'll define, prioritise and manage work across them: running transparent prioritisation and review processes, surfacing trade-offs and dependencies, coordinating handoffs, and shepherding agreed priorities from early framing through to activation and learning. You'll also help RPC understand where its work travels and the difference it makes, turning that evidence into clear narratives for leadership. This is an individual contributor role.

• Help operate and continuously improve RPC's Foresight-to-Influence operating model.

• Design and administer transparent prioritisation, review and sequencing processes, documenting decisions, trade-offs and next steps.

• Translate agreed priorities into clear workstreams with owners, dependencies, decision points and handoffs.

• Facilitate cross-functional planning, workshops and reviews that move work from agreement into execution.

• Spot risks, stalled handoffs and emerging issues, and escalate them to the right decision-makers.

• Make sure major initiatives consider intended audiences, outcomes and pathways to influence from the start.

• Maintain portfolio visibility so leadership can see what's moving, where work connects and where decisions are needed.

• Develop practical measures of adoption, engagement and influence, and build feedback loops into future prioritization.

• Help translate foresight scenarios and hypotheses into practical inputs for planning, prioritisation and stress-testing.

• Create clear strategic narratives and executive-ready materials that connect individual initiatives into a coherent story.

• A demonstrated track record of delivering results in project, programme, change management or operations roles.

• Experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments without relying on direct authority.

• Strategic thinking and problem solving: the ability to look beyond your own team, understand the broader context and turn it into a handful of coherent, deliverable actions.

• A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to defining, prioritising and managing work, and leading others through execution.

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management, with the ability to synthesise perspectives, surface trade-offs and help groups reach clear decisions.

• Sound judgement in prioritisation, sequencing and knowing when to escalate.

• Comfort working with imperfect quantitative and qualitative evidence and building practical dashboards and tools without creating unnecessary process.

• Rigour and attention to detail in how you present your work and others'.

• Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, explaining complex systems simply.

• An MBA or project management certification (such as PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus but not required.

In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected salary range: $95,000 - $125,000 / £60,000 - £76,000 per year. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position including location. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) or pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
