MANAGER, INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNERSHIPS
 
Summary:
GSTV is looking for a fuel and convenience infrastructure field support expert to evolve our media network supply management group with a significant focus on establishing and managing strategic partnerships and with Authorized Service Companies. Working with industry strategic partners such as fuel dispenser manufacturers, fuel equipment distributors and field service companies, managed network service providers, major oil company operations and individual retailers. This role – and group – is essential to maintaining and growing GSTV’s media screen infrastructure installed at fuel and convenience retail locations across the country
 
As the Manager, Infrastructure Partnerships, you will become an expert on the technology powering GSTV and build the processes and relationships necessary to improve the network health, performance and uptime when GSTV does not directly own/maintain any of the physical hardware. This role – and group – is also essential to establishing and strengthening our relationships with our retailer partners. This individual serves as a technical resource for retailers, providing technical guidance and support to keep their media screens operational. They will be responsible for managing projects related to the technician dispatches and on-site technical support of the forecourt media solutions. This individual will work closely with our engineering, product management, retailer success, and external partners to deliver these results.
 
It is expected that this person will work at multiple levels within the group. They will work with external partners and vendors to trouble shoot and resolve technical issues and establish standard operating procedures and task management processes to maximize the number of screens activated per hours and dollars spent.  This person is a key contributor in the establishment and execution of GSTV’s network health strategy and will be helping to build and maintain our company culture and values within the team.
 
Your success will be measured by
  • Your ability to assess, develop, and manage network infrastructure field support partnerships that deliver improvements to the health and footprint of our network – we have only begun to scratch the surface of the potential ways to improve uptime to drive value for advertisers and retail partners
  • The continued growth and maturation of our industry partnerships and proactive network health capabilities – are we able to successfully complete larger and more complex projects, are we regularly developing relationships within the fuel and convenience industry that support GSTVs Retailers.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Develop project plans to support onsite POP remediation including scopes of work, service provider assignments, timelines, hardware procurement lead times, and dependencies in collaboration with project sponsors.
  • Manage the RFQ (request for quote) process to complete scope of work requirements. Create request documentation, engage with performing service entities, archive quotes received, and approve activities within budgeted parameters.
  • Communicate pre-staging requirements to manufacturer helpdesk and onboarding support teams for remedial site visits in advance of onsite activity.
  • Effectively analyze post site visit technician notes to improve lessons learned documentation and build out recommended activities for other offline populations.
  • Update Salesforce and other tracking databases to ensure project milestones are captured including but not limited to ASO/ASC sourcing, RFQ status, PO creation, hardware acquisition, validation results, WO completion approvals, and invoice processing.
  • Develop MNSP provider repository for all active and inactive site profiles. Establish mitigation protocols for populations that remain offline and are linked to MNSP categoric ruleset issues.
  • Serve as a liaison between our Finance team and the credit underwriting at new to GSTV ASC/ASO’s to facilitate expedited new customer set ups.
  • Onboard new to GSTV ASO’s and ASC’s by identifying applicable coverage areas, strength of technician counts, certifications, reputation, and overall scalability of providers.   
  • Communicate projected site schedules to both chain and independent retailer stakeholders. Ensure LOA’s (letter of authorization) are available and accessible to the performing technicians at site level.
  • Coordinate daily network and infrastructure support activities across multiple locations and teams.
  • Monitor project timelines, track milestones, and ensure deliverables align with departmental objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.
  • Support issue resolution by gathering necessary data, logging incidents, and facilitating follow-up actions to maintain network uptime.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting dashboards using tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, and other operational platforms.
  • Assist in planning and documentation for upgrades, maintenance windows, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, client services, and technical support to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to leadership, compiling data for performance insights and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience in operations, project coordination, or technical support roles, ideally in network or infrastructure environments.
·       A pragmatic approach that balances both vision and business value on multiple time horizons, a strong track record of delivering results through strategic partnerships and a history of managing projects from conception through completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities in cross-functional settings.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Education and/or Experience:
Experience: 
  • Must have 5-7 years of experience in the fuel/convenience industry, specifically in a service/project management capacity.
  • Experience with the installation and maintenance of petroleum equipment.
  • Familiarity with Invenco by GVR: Encore 700’s, Flex IV, Flex VI, Dover Fueling Solutions: Wayne Ovation 2 IOTV, Anthem, NCR-Optic, Verifone & Passport is ideal.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Note: The expected salary range for this position is based on a combination of experience and qualifications for the position, as well as geographic location to align with local market.
