Job Description:

The candidate will embrace the merging of web and mobile advertising technology, and have a skill set that goes beyond the traditional advertising operations profile. This Developer position will focus on JavaScript development with the goal of both maintaining our site tagging efforts alongside working on development projects.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Data collection through custom scripting and tagging using javascipt/HTML5/CSS

  • Application development with focus on React/Node.js applications

  • Development of custom applications to support client/internal deliverables

  • Identifying and solving complex ad- and data-related issues

  • Communicating the function and scope of our technology platforms and services

  • Working with third-party developers and technology vendors

  • Assisting internal media teams in the execution of cross-divisional ad campaigns

  • Technical liaison to both internal and client teams

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and basic browser-to-server communication (Node.JS/React is preferred)

  • Ability to digest technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and under tight deadlines

  • A strong understanding of various advertising platforms and the media agency environment.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years work experience, preferably in advertising or in a technical client services environment

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.

  • BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record.

This position will be reporting to

the Director of Development.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 - $120,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
