We are hiring for a Manager of Paid Social to join our Performance Marketing team. In this role, we’re looking for someone with a sharp analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing and optimizing performance-driven campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition, leveraging data to drive efficiency at scale.
This role is based may be based in NYC or LA (with a hybrid schedule of in-office 2 days per week.)
Responsibilities:
Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Build, manage, and QA campaigns to ensure flawless execution across multiple platforms and geographies
- Triangulate data across multiple sources to monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize impact for new customer acquisition
- Develop and implement A/B testing frameworks to experiment with new audiences, creative approaches, and messaging strategies to unlock scalable growth
- Own top of funnel marketing initiatives to support Earned Media Value
Performance Monitoring & Analysis
- Daily monitoring of spend and revenue pacing. Assist in providing recommendations on channel and geo budget splits, identifying high-performing channels/geographies and opportunities for scale
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, ensuring optimization against KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, and CVR
- Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
- Perform ad-hoc analyses
- Maintain reporting dashboards to track KPIs and translate insights into action
Ad Trafficking & Implementation
- Maintain organized tracking of campaigns, ensuring naming conventions and UTM parameters are correctly implemented for accurate attribution
- Troubleshoot delivery issues, pixel tracking, and platform discrepancies to prevent errors and improve efficiency
- Brief and traffic creative assets to internal and external partners
- Work closely with the creative team to provide data-backed recommendations for ad iterations and new concepts for testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in hands-on in-house paid social marketing, with a track record of driving DTC growth (preferably within beauty or wellness)
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in analytics and measurement tools including Shopify, GA4 and Northbeam
- A deep understanding of key performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach
- An ability to multitask, effectively carrying multiple projects through to completion
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
MERIT is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package in addition to salary compensation. The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 in addition to bonus potential, stock options, a 401(k) match, health benefits, paid time off and more.
