Job Title: Manager, Partnership Activation

Reports To: Director, Partnership Sales

Location: USA Hockey National Office – Colorado Springs, CO

Basic Function: Manage day to day relationships with corporate and licensing partners to maximize the performance of USA Hockey sponsorships. Collaborate with all internal teams of the organization to effectively execute each element of the partnership in an efficient and productive manner. Listen to client needs to proactively and work cross-departmentally to adjust the changing needs of our partnerships throughout the course of the relationship.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ANS PRIMARY RESPONSIBILLITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day needs of corporate and licensing accounts by providing second-to-none client service, this may include: Timely approvals of creative and content; Timely follow-up on partner questions and requests; Regular client calls and check-ins based upon client needs.

  • Identify opportunities to maximize partner value, which may include adjustments to the agreement.

  • Monitoring program effectiveness against partner objectives and KPIs.

  • Create and deliver unique and polished partnership recaps with confidence.

  • Develop and implement in-market/retail promotions to add new value for clients.

  • Maintaining partner deliverables, as well as significant contract items.

  • Assist in a variety of department-related duties.

  • Maintain an infectiously positive attitude when dealing with partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality.

  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or possess a minimum of three or more years' experience in agency, media, or partnership management.

  • Knowledgeable in the practices and principles related to media and sponsorship activation.

  • Ability to develop successful, mutually beneficial working relationships with corporate clients.

  • Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.

  • Understand teamwork and enjoy working closely with colleagues to provide a team approach that fulfills client interests and overall partnership objectives.

  • Self-starter, successful working with limited supervision.

  • Sales style reflects both drive and resilience.

  • Team orientation supporting motivation and focus on both individual and departmental growth.

  • Well-spoken and have excellent written communication skills as well as listening skills.

  • Must be detail oriented, have exceptional work ethic and a strong desire to succeed.

  • Expression of a personal brand that is professional and creative.

SALARY:

Salary range is $58,000 - $63,000 annually.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • This position may require travel.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point or similar presentation tools.

  • Knowledge of sponsorship software preferred, i.e. SponsorUnited, Nielsen, SponsorCX, Google Analytics, etc.

  • Work schedule will include office hours as well as event responsibilities on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Office in a multi-level building.

AVAILABILITY:

Position to begin immediately at USA Hockey’s national headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
