We’re looking for a high potential People & Performance Manager to manage and continuously improve Hiring function in a high caliber manner. This role will report directly to the SVP of People & Performance and work collaboratively with all levels of leadership at the company to make effective interviewing and hiring decisions. Over time, this person will also work on and contribute to various Talent Development programs. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment and is passionate about building an in-house career in the HR/People space at a high-growth consumer brand.

 

What you will be doing…

  1. Manage and refine the Maiden Home Talent Acquisition function in a high quality manner.
  2. Lead the recruiting process for open roles from start to finish, resulting in ongoing improvement to our hiring practice and helping the company make more aligned hires from ahead.
  3. Conduct research and talent searches on LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools to identify top tier candidates for select high priority roles. 
  4. Represent the Maiden Home employe brand in a high quality, trusted, professional manner to the internal team and prospective candidates.
  5. Establish and run a market mapping/proactive sourcing process for exploratory jobs that will expand the business. 
  6. Guide hiring managers and leaders to make effective decisions in their hiring and talent, such as: using hiring tools, iterating on profiles, providing sound advice on candidates, and making decisions on interview questions or projects.
  7. Over time, work with SVP of People on various People & Performance projects that enhance the employee experience and help the company succeed, which may include: Performance Reviews, Talent Programs, Benefits initiatives, etc.

What you should have…

  • 5+ years of Recruiting experience in highly dynamic and high performing companies with increasing responsibility; search firm, consumer and/or retail industry experience is a strong plus.
  • True passion and knack for finding and evaluating high caliber people who fit open positions.
  • Experience with proactive market mapping for specialized and senior level roles.
  • Demonstrated success in filling various complicated roles with a variety of business leaders.
  • Skilled at running and iterating on cross-functional process iteratively 
  • Problem solver - ability to identify when something works/doesn’t work, and pivot accordingly
  • Clear, direct communicator (written and verbal)
  • Strong project plan building and execution skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; performs tasks with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • High degree of flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced and frequently changing environment
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for luxury furniture is a plus

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
