Position Purpose:

Key player within the clinical domain overseeing a team within the product management function for multiple products.

Primary advocate and trusted advisor for customer needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product strategies are effectively executed.

Your leadership will be key in guiding product managers and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the key “voice of the customer” for multiple products, ensuring their needs are communicated and prioritized among stakeholders.

  • Objective Development: Collaborate with the team to develop product and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and implement effective measurement and reporting practices.

  • KPI Management: Assist in defining and tracking KPIs based on OKRs to provide actionable insights for product enhancements.

  • Discovery Facilitation: Support technical discovery initiatives for multiple products, working with business partners, design, research, and delivery teams.

  • Roadmap Management: Collaborate with product leads to adjust scope and roadmap, supporting prioritization decisions for multiple products.

  • User Story Development: Aid in defining Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria for multiple products, ensuring they are well understood by delivery teams.

  • Backlog Management: Assist in grooming and prioritizing backlogs to ensure alignment with the strategy and OKRs, balancing development needs and technical requirements.

  • Dependency Coordination: Help coordinate inter-delivery team and external dependencies to facilitate smooth product delivery.

  • Quality Assurance: Review completed work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality standards are met.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support feature demonstrations for stakeholders, providing product expertise and facilitating knowledge sharing.

  • Team Development: Mentor and develop product managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
5+ years of experience in product management.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking KPIs and OKRs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to lead product initiatives and drive successful outcomes.
Experience in mentoring and developing product management teams. required.

Experience in complex healthcare payer environment.

Experience in Clinical UM/CM/Population Health domain.

Pay Range: $121,500.00 - $224,900.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
